Cancellation Insurance
In the event of cancellation, the tenant remains responsible for the full rent unless the property can be re-let, in which case the deposit will be returned less a cancellation fee (minimum £30.00 + vat). However, deposits may be recovered from the cancellation insurance in appropriate circumstances, direct with Global Travel Insurance Ltd.
Unavoidable circumstances may require that you cancel or curtail your holiday, resulting in considerable financial loss.
We have arranged with Global Travel Insurance Services Ltd to cover cancellation losses. The cost of this insurance can be added to your holiday deposit and provides cover to a maximum loss of £400 for a minimum premium in 2008 of £18.80 inc. tax per holiday. If your holiday is in excess of £400, cover provided is charged at a rate of £1.36 per £50 cover (Inc: Insurance Premium Tax).
In past years several of our clients have been embarrassed by having to cancel without holding insurance, therefore, we strongly recommend that you take out cover if you do not already have your own travel insurance.
